As a former assistant county attorney in Ramsey County's Child Support and Enforcement Division, Eileen has a unique insight into the new state laws that determine how children will be cared for.

Working in family court and child support matters since 2001, Eileen has prepared and reviewed hundreds of family court cases for hearings and settlements. She began her career in Ramsey County Family Court and worked in the county attorney's office before joining Lucas Family Law in 2007. Aside from family law, she has experience in the areas of personal injury and worker’s compensation.

"My job is to keep clients calm and focused on the issues that are important to them. I use my communication skills well with people who are going through difficult transitions in their lives. I make sure that they know what to expect throughout the process."

Eileen heard of Lucas Family Law while working as a clerk for Referee Earl F. Beddow Jr. in Ramsey County Family Court. "I was impressed with their strong sense of ethics and the quality of their work." Lending her child support experience to the firm seemed a logical fit. "This is a great opportunity to share my knowledge of child support matters."
