Nancy Griffith joined Lucas Family Law in September 2008, bringing with her years of family law experience. Her approachable, cheerful personality puts others at ease and creates an environment of calm. Having supported attorneys practicing in the areas of employment law and family law, Nancy understands the highly charged emotions clients experience, especially during times of transition. Nancy's strengths lie in her insightful, clear-thinking ability to assist others in articulating their priorities and intentions. As a trained mediator, she faces everyday challenges from a perspective of prioritizing, generating options to meet those goals, and working efficiently to achieve the desired results.

In 2006, Nancy graduated from CenterPoint Massage & Shiatsu Therapy School in Minneapolis. "Massage therapy is something I've always wanted to pursue. Doing so enabled me to learn not just about anatomy, but about the incredible mind-body connection we so often ignore. The skills of massage therapy and listening to my body have been invaluable in pursuing my other passion: distance trail running. When I'm running in the woods, I'm at peace, and all the cares of my world evaporate. I consider my long runs to be meditation in motion."

Nancy also enjoys utilizing her writing skills as the author of short stories, many of them about various races she and her husband Tom have run, including the Vermont 100 Mile Endurance Run. Several of her stories have been published in running magazines and on race websites. In addition to running, Nancy is a loyal volunteer for the Afton Trail Runs, as well as several other trail runs around Minnesota.
